Which offer suits me or my company?
For companies there are three routes: the keynote as an impulse for your event, the training for working with a team and 1:1 mentoring for individual leaders. As an individual, you work with me in 1:1 mentoring, whether you are a leader, an entrepreneur or a professional athlete. Which format is right for you depends on what you are facing right now, and we will clarify that within a few minutes in our first conversation.
What actually changes, and how quickly?
You make decisions more clearly instead of pushing things ahead of you for weeks, you appear calmer in front of large groups even when the pressure is high, and you lead your team from a clear stance again instead of from your inbox. Because we work on your real situations from the very start, you take something away from the very first sessions that you can apply the next day, and the people around you usually notice the difference within a few weeks.
I have done something like this before and it did not help. What is different with you?
Most programmes stop at models and exercises that someone has read up on. I have led, founded, lost and rebuilt myself, and I know the pressure of a corporation just as well as the pressure of competition. That is why we do not talk about composure in the abstract, we tackle the meetings, conversations and decisions that are really coming up for you this week.
What is the difference between mentoring and coaching?
A coach asks you questions and helps you find your own answers, while a mentor has already walked the path you are on and tells you clearly what he would do in your place. I was a manager and authorised signatory at a Big Four firm, a manager at a US corporation and founded my own company, and I bring exactly this experience into my business mentoring so that you leave every session with a clear direction for your next decision.
Can composure really be learned, and will it work for me?
Yes, and I do not know that from a textbook. At 22 I was left with nothing and deeply in debt, and I built my composure over years, in a corporation, as an entrepreneur and in sport under real pressure. Composure is not a talent that you either have or do not have, it is a skill that can be developed in a targeted way, and because we always work on your specific situation, your starting point is secondary.
Who is this not for?
For anyone looking for a list of fifteen techniques that already exist a thousand times over and fizzle out after two weeks. With me, it is about changing your inner stance, and that takes time, but it then carries you for years. It is also not about trying something out now and then, you put what we discussed into practice in your everyday life, in the very week we talked about it. If you are ready for that, you are in the right place with me.
How does the collaboration work and where does it take place?
It always begins with a first conversation in which we clarify your situation, your goal and the next steps. After that, mentoring usually runs over several weeks in a fixed rhythm, so that there is enough everyday life between sessions to really put into practice what we discussed. Mentoring takes place by phone or in person and never by video, because a camera only distracts and each of us should be fully focused on our conversation, and I hold trainings and keynotes on site with you or online, whichever suits you better.
Does this stay between us?
Yes, without exception. Everything you tell me stays between us, and the same applies to the fact that we work together at all. On this website you will only find testimonials from people who have expressly agreed to their publication, and I handle everything else the same way.
What does it cost?
My fee per session is always the same, no matter how many sessions we agree on, because I do not want you to decide on something because of a volume discount. What a collaboration costs overall therefore depends only on the format and the scope, and we define both together in the first conversation.
Do I pay for this myself or does my employer cover it?
If you are employed, it usually goes through your development budget, because that is exactly what it is there for, and for most of my clients in leadership positions the company covers the costs in the end. You receive an invoice from me that you can submit to your HR department, and if someone there needs something in writing about content and scope beforehand, I will send it to you. As an entrepreneur or self-employed person, you invoice it directly through your business. Send me a no-obligation enquiry via this website and I will get back to you personally.
